The human nature does not like change.  I can remember my grandparents complaining about the way things were changing.  They did not perceive them as good, and in some ways the world that they lived in was more civil than the one we live in now.  I resisted as long as I could moving into the computerized world.  Now here I am with a web site. Not all change is bad, but God said that He was God and that he didn't change. Israel refused to change their behavior so God sent them the prophet Jeremiah.  When God finally sent them into captivity he told Jeremiah to tell them to get settled because they would be there for awhile.  He gave them the message, but there were other prophets who were saying that the children of Israel would be returning in two years.  Two voices saying two entirely different things.  There are so many kinds of voices in the world.  Jesus said his sheep knew His voice.  Well, in this sense, nothing has changed.  We hear so much about the way of salvation.  I suppose there are as many ways as there are web sites.  The people of Israel made a life and death choice concerning the voice they chose to listen to.  Some prophets were so dramatic, others were so educated, but Jeremiah spoke from his heart.  Now Jesus told us that whoever was not against us was for us.  I am for whatever it takes to keep this nation on the right track.  My concern is that this country is changing.  I realize it is inevitable since the spirit of anti-Christ is always at work.  Can God acquit this country of it's trespasses and still be God? Hurricanes and floods are signs from God. The things that happened to Israel were not pleasant. They were for our learning.  History is a great teacher, but very few are in the classroom.  I heard someone announce a show called "In God They Trust".  I thought it was "We".  The change was so dramatic for Israel that today they are still suffering from their disobedience to God.  We know that God is no respecter of persons, and I am persuaded that He is no respecter of nations.  They are as a drop of a bucket to Him.  Eventually the world ship is going down.  We need to listen to our heart and get on board the right ship before the change comes. You might consider looking at these sites:
